To buy real estate in Guatemala you need:
- The presence of the seller (his agent can appear) and buyer (he can appear with business manager or agent.)
- Each of the grantors must present the personal document with which they identify themselves, in good condition and in force. If you are a foreigner you must present your passport.
- It must take the plane real estate if it is fraction by authorized expert measurer, or engineer, and in case of being horizontal property the set of planes.
- If there are buildings with services, they must have the respective receipts paid up to date.
- If you are well registered, it is suggested that you make an electronic consultation of the state of the farm, to have more security and not be suspended the respective registration.
